GeoFencing
The main topic of our client webinar – and the subject of our last blog post – is GeoFencing. GeoFencing is a style of Display Advertising, which you may know as those ads that follow you around the web. What sets GeoFencing apart is the more targeted approach to who views your ads. With GeoFencing, you set specific location areas – which we call “geo-fences.” These areas can be as broad as you’d like, but you can set your geo-fence to target a precise location, like a neighborhood, a block, and even a specific home or address!

GeoFencing is one of the smartest ways to market your business in 2021, as the targeted nature allows you to aim your ads in the places that mean the most to you. Gone are the days of shelling out thousands to hit an entire city or state!

Search Engine Optimization
Geofencing can be considered one of the newer styles of online marketing, but don’t let that distract you from the importance of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). This form of marketing is more of a long-term strategy and can take longer to see results compared to others. Despite this, SEO is still one of the most significant sources of leads you can ask for as a business owner.

As the title implies, the goal of SEO is to make sure your Website appears as high as possible in search engines when users search for your services. We say “as high as possible” because searchers tend not to look past page one when looking for a service. It can take time for your SEO campaign to hit its stride, especially if you’re in a competitive area. And once it does hit its stride, your SEO campaign requires continual maintenance and engagement to keep your results going.

So what do the end results of GeoFencing and SEO have in common? With one click, your targeted users are sent to your Website. Does your Website effectively show your company’s identity, list its services, and give ways for prospects to get in touch with you?
